About Elna Pieterse

With over 40 years of experience in the administration of deceased estates, I understand the challenges families face when a loved one passes away — especially when no will exists or a trust company renounces its role as executor.

My career has taken me to the highest levels of the industry, including serving as National Head of Estates at Sanlam Trust, where I developed deep expertise in fiduciary matters of every complexity. As an Accredited Mediator, I also help families resolve disputes constructively — preserving relationships during an already emotionally difficult time.

After decades in estate administration, I recognised that families often need more than technical assistance. They need someone who can guide them through uncertainty with patience, empathy, and experience. That is why I founded EP Consult — to provide the kind of personal, compassionate service that large institutions often cannot offer.
